Meet the Characters of Soul Dark

Salvatore LeClerq

Salvatore LeClerq was a soul dark dragon man. He was part of a group of second-order vampires created by dragons to serve as warriors for the Velosian gods who once ruled over vast forested kingdoms in the Spirit Realm.

The diamond dust dragons disappeared, and the Velosians were gods no more. Salvatore faced the fade as he served one of the last of the Woodsmen at the end of an age.

Before the forest lord he served grew roots as an elder tree, Salvatore received orders to seek his consort and swear fealty to the Vampire King. Only soul dark warriors didn’t exactly fit into the urban landscape.

Maybe he should trust the demonic Vampire Queen, but helping her came at a price.

Finding his consort among the citizens of Chicago, much less convincing her to become soul dark for him, became ever more complicated when he stumbled over Kali Delorance and a nefarious plot to kidnap the man he should serve…

Kali Delorance was a poverty-stricken, yet beautiful woman. She blamed her looks for the unwanted attention she often received, which led to her shadow magic causing her trouble. She attempted to work and get out of her situation when she met an awkward but handsome man who frightened her even as he drew her to him.

Her attraction to him was instant, but she ran away from a man too good to be true. When he rescued her from an attacker and the truth about him became obvious, his capacity for violence frightened her further away.

When she found herself trapped in a situation, which only one handsome, soul dark vampire could manage, Salvatore LeClerq wanted more than friendship for the help he offered.
