Blaze was once the Dungeon Master for the king of Leinster. The dark streak which allowed him to torture his enemies remains, but his meanness extends only to those who seek to harm the ones he loves. When he finds his life mate dying, he bleeds for her and stops her from crossing over, but she is a sorceress and his magic isn’t good for her. It takes a bit to convince the hesitant jeweler that Blaze really is the dragon he says he is, but when he finally does, sparks fly.

She was doing all right running her small time jewelry and gift store in Waco, until three evil dragons came calling, ripped off her merchandise, burned down her business and kidnapped her for some crazy evil medical experiment. She had given up hope and faded. Her last memory of a handsome man was what she would take into the underworld until she woke trapped in her own mind to discover the man was a dragon who bled for her so he could claim her as his Valkyrie.
