Story Art & Music - February 13, 2026
Dear Reader,
I didn't want the art collection to impede the publishing of the back catalog of manuscripts. But I don't always get what I want. Also, I needed a respite from editing. I took this week off from posting chapters and content directly to the Draoithe Saga to focus on building the art collections for OpheliaKee.com just as I promised in last week's Draoithe Saga News post.
I haven't given up on publishing, so don't worry. The read-through for Gryphon Knight Redeemed is complete. The story has been uploaded to Atticus, and it's ready for line edits, proofreading, and formatting. All major revisions have been done. It's closer than you think. It may be ready to publish by the end of February, even though I needed a break.
Some people write following a daily routine or an outline they've plotted beforehand. The muse I follow is pure chaos. No matter how I want things to happen, she has other ideas. While we all wait on the muse to get back to the story, please take a moment to visit OpheliaKee.com and check out the new story art collections. Let me know what you think and offer any suggestions you may have. Someone already suggested I add the story art link to the book landing pages. That will be forthcoming!
And now a word from our sponsor, Ophelia Kee.

Thread, the entry point into the world of the dream.
Unraveling chaos with each tattered thread
A thousand years ago, chaos escaped into the dream. By 2016, shadowy evil forces using madness were wreaking havoc on the balance of magic and erasing necessary parts of an ancient prophecy. In danger of losing its magic, the dream attempts to use broken pieces and replacement parts to weave a new tapestry. Choosing the right building blocks isn’t easy.
In this exhilarating prequel tale, meet Luke and Eli, two characters with fascinating pasts and complicated secrets, before they become the king and queen the dream needs them to be. Luke Mendez is a retired military man. Having anxiety, he spies the beautiful girl next door, but then struggles to introduce himself. Eli Miller, the high school history teacher, worked tirelessly for years to break free from a terrible relationship. She moved to Tyler to start over.
Thread is the story of a lonely direwolf shifter and a lone tiger shifter in a time before the two of them meet each other. It sets the stage for A Pack Forms, an enthralling urban fantasy with a paranormal romance tale in the epic Draoithe Saga by Ophelia Kee. If you enjoy the story before the story, Thread is your free introduction to a new series.
Welcome to the dream…
Behind the Scenes

This might sound insane, but hear me out. I want to create music for each book—like a soundtrack. I'd also like songs. The song lyrics would be based on the story without giving the ending away, so I could share them on YouTube! I could make a variation of the book cover for the album covers. It's all about creating a more immersive experience.
If I can craft these elements properly, so that each song had a similar feel but with distinct variation for every story in a miniseries, it would be akin to a soundtrack. Even if you aren't an audiobook listener,
The thing is, I know nothing about writing song lyrics or crafting the music for a book. I need help. So I found another indie artist who might help me discover a way to get that project off the ground. Cross your fingers that the muse is onto something.
Maybe this is the step I've been missing between the stories and animation. Who knows, but I haven't forgotten about graphic novels and cartoons. Someday, that will happen as well. But I may need to rewrite the tales from a PG-13 perspective for that to happen. We shall see.

I need to get back to creating more art collections so I can move forward with all the other ideas the muse has. Leave your comments and questions. I love to hear from you. If you found this post worthy, please feel free to share it. If you're listening on YouTube, don't forget to like and subscribe for more original stories and audio adventures! Special thanks to @OkMusicWriters for Enter The Dream. Thank you for stepping into the dream once more. I hope you have a lovely weekend and will discover a grand story. Please remember when you read, be kind and leave your reviews. Until my next post, welcome to the dream…
