 Fire Incarnate, Finally - November 21, 2025

Dear Reader,

I'm proud to introduce the latest story in the dream. Fire Incarnate should be live everywhere fantasy books are sold! The Druid Dominion Miniseries has posted the last episode, and OpheliaKee.com now offers the character art.

I feel as though this story moved the fantasy backstory further along than it has traveled in quite a while. Please let me know what you think about what happened to Rake. It was a tough scene to write, so I hope you feel as if he got his comeuppance. My beta readers were shocked at how dark Blaze truly was, but happy that he had the skills he possesses.

I'm sad that it took so long to get this story completed, but thank you for your patience as I finished it amidst the turmoil of the day job. For those who subscribe to the Draoithe Saga, I appreciate your understanding. It has been a rough few weeks in November, but by the time you read this post, I'll be only a few short hours away from a much-needed vacation.

And now a word from our sponsor, Ophelia Kee.

Shameless Self Promotion

Magic breathes life into the dream. The gods themselves aren't sure just how sentient it is, but one thing is certain. Without magic, the dream ceases to exist. If a devil gets his way, half the dream will disappear as if it never existed. A group of young immortals have to figure it all out before the time is up, and they have no idea the clock is even ticking nor who the true villain is.

Noble Dark, Urban Fantasy with Steamy Paranormal Romance Stories. Includes Fated Mates, 18+, NC! & HEA!

***Warning: Adult Themes, Fantasy Violence, and/or Explicit Sexual Situations. Intended for a Mature Audience.

What are you waiting for? Grab an excellent drink, curl up in your favorite reading nook, and escape into the dream with the Draoithe Saga and over 15 themed miniseries by Ophelia Kee. Get all the extra art, videos, audio files, and more. Read as I write, edit, and post the episodes. Welcome to the dream…

Behind the Scenes

Scar as the poster child for Fire Incarnate

As I wrote the stories set in the dream, I could see the characters on the stage in my mind. They interacted with one another, and much like entitled actors in a play, they also argued with the narrator to get it right so they wouldn't lose face. I laughed aloud. No one but me could see them.

Then I grew sad. My characters have been driving the Draoithe Saga and my escape from the pressures of the day job for a long time. They deserved true faces. I wanted character art, but my budget for such things was severely limited considering the size of the dream.

I finally saw a way to give my readers an opportunity to see the characters as I do with Night Cafe. The dream is mine, but character art created marketing materials beyond the book cover. The characters offered another way to share the dream with more people. Then I realized readers might want the art prints, too.

I created character art as digital downloads in high-quality, PNG files. I wanted to offer value with the art and added the character descriptions along with the story frontispieces.

In the future, if I ever have time, I want to create art bundles to accompany the book bundles. If you have waited for that, I apologize for not thinking of it sooner. There's always one more thing, but the story has always come first.
