Creative Publishing - March 13, 2026

Dear Reader,

I fell down the rabbit hole researching musical genres. I'm considering creating songs inspired by the dream's stories using neoclassical cello and piano music. There must be a continuity theme flowing through each miniseries.

Y'all, there is so much I don't know about music. I know what I enjoy listening to, but I have to get smarter if I'm going to do this music creation justice. I'm not shelving it; I'm just relaying the truth I've discovered about how time involving the project will be. It's going to take months, even with all the tools currently available... maybe years.

For those of you who have been with me since the beginning, this won't be a surprise to you and will cause you no real angst. The idea of merchandise floated around years ago, but it took a few different attempts for me to realize I had to build it first. Print on demand t-shirts and mugs are nice, but expensive. Integration isn't always so easy, either. When I considered all the extras and posted the bookish art for sale, I finally landed on the right path. Even that took a few attempts to get it right, and years to accomplish.

So if you worry I can't pull it off, you don't fully understand the tenacity of my insane muse. She is a tiger with serious claws and no fear of using them to get what she wants. You don't believe me? Wait until you see what she does to Flare when she thinks he might injure one of her claimed godchildren... But that scene lies in the Eagle Lords miniseries, and it will take a while.

Anyway, while I learn what the hell I'm doing with the music, I want to revisit an idea I had a while back: crafting in-motion frontispiece images. I want to turn the book cover art into videos. When my brain tires of studying music, I'll take a break and try my hand and creating a brand new style of book promotion. I promise I'll add the videos in the Draoithe Saga and let you see them as soon as I can post them.

As of this penning, 1/3 of Gryphon Knight Redeemed has posted chapters in the Druid Dominion Miniseries. At the beginning of the month, I had hoped to publish the book by the end of my vacation over Spring Break, but I'm not as far along as I had hoped I would be at this point. I have a lot of personal business to tackle during that week. I still hope to publish by the end of the month.

As I'm about halfway through the final read-through for Dragon Medicine, I hope to publish chapters in the fifth volume of the Druid Dominion Miniseries immediately following the wrap of Gryphon Knight Redeemed. I have high hopes that this story will be published as a book by the end of April. If I gave up adding all the extras to the stories, I know I could publish faster, but crafting the extras is too much fun, so I will have to accept the time delay as a byproduct and carry on.
