Tatiana Iovani was born an independent lynx shifter with shadow magic, but a vicious attack transformed her into a rare vampire-lynx hybrid. Once a dedicated hospital nurse practitioner, Tatiana is highly organized and exceptionally skilled in handling medical trauma. Physically, she is stunning, featuring pale skin, chocolate-brown wavy hair she is fiercely protective over, and matching brown eyes flecked with green. She also has light freckles dusting her nose and cheeks, alongside scars on her back from being burned by the sun.

Though her warring magics initially left her mind fractured and slipping into madness, she possesses a quiet, resilient strength. As a feline shifter, she is naturally solitary yet intensely territorial and possessive of her fated mate, the dragon Flare. Grounded by his licorice scent, Tatiana eventually embraces both sides of her nature, becoming a powerful, winged Valkyrie and the head nurse of Draoithe’s new infirmary.

Flare is a rare, elemental-crafted red dragon shifter with striking purple eyes and a dimple on his left cheek. Unlike other dragons, he breathes snow alongside blue-purple fire and is the only dragon capable of flying in the Netherworld. Before his resurrection as an immortal, he was a human medicine man, a passion he continued by running a natural apothecary in California.

Despite his formidable power, Flare endured centuries of profound loneliness and struggled with a dark past of addiction, having willingly sold his blood to vampires to escape his isolation through a euphoric high. Now serving as a dragon knight and the resident doctor at the Draoithe sanctuary, he finally finds his true purpose and his fated mate, the vampire-lynx hybrid Tatiana. Deeply compassionate and fiercely possessive, Flare risks everything—including his own honor—to heal Tatiana's fractured mind by soul-binding her as his winged Valkyrie.
