Dear Reader,

Thanks for allowing me to drop into your inbox on a holiday and wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. Because of exhausting Black Friday shopping and holiday decorating, I must beg off on the usual weekend post and hope this one will suffice in its place.

For those unaware, my professional day job is a public school teacher. So by default, my holidays and vacation days come set in stone via my contracted hours. This means I often tend to my writing around those dates. For years, I have used my vacations to publish stories. I want to make it a more formal tradition and add something special for my readers. So in honor of what I'd like to be the first in a long line of self publishing traditions, I bring you Dark Curse.

This story first published ages ago as part of another tale. But as I got better tools and learned more about writing and editing, most of the dream languished in obscurity following the Great Takedown. Since then, the reorganized, recovered, and reworked tales slowly return.

As part of my editing process, the stories publish chapter by chapter as a season of a miniseries first. Dark Curse is currently complete and part of the Valkyrie Riders Miniseries. Each miniseries includes the ebook chapters, audiobook chapters, and all the extras, including art and video created for the stories.

Once the stories edited chapters have published, I format the edited manuscript into a book and publish it in several formats. The easiest is the ebook, followed by the audiobook with the help of Google's digital narration, and finally the tale goes to print where I craft both a paperback and a hardcover.
