Fire and a Gryphon Volume 9 Draoithe Saga
In the summer of 2016, a gryphon knight was sent on the wrong mission to kidnap an elemental to save the castle’s gargoyles. Only she was fire, and she had some serious backup in the form of dragons and a direwolf pack leader intent on protecting his pack. Set adrift by his people as the criminal he admitted to being, Marchand began to fade. The woman he wronged came to his rescue with an offer of friendship. Luke had plans for the gryphon if he could convince the Marchand that he still had worth. Marchand was all too aware that the end was fast approaching him, even though he was invincible.
When the bear Spark waited for and the woman March searched for his entire life arrived at Draoithe, things got confused. He needed to help the bear who viewed him as a rival for Spark’s affection to keep Spark’s friendship, to save the only woman who could ever possibly matter. The only way to do all of that was to turn his back on everything he ever believed he wanted, alienate the man he viewed as his father, and accept Luke’s offer to work for the Druid pack.
